A Comparative Study of Obesity in Government School Children

"A Comparative Study of Obesity in Government School Children" is a research work conducted on school children for the assessment of overweight and obesity condition. Due to inactivity and sedentary lifestyle, obesity has become worldwide issue. According to World Health Organization (2017-Report), "over 61% of deaths in India are due to non-communicable diseases (NCDs) including lifestyle diseases, obesity for 12-19 years tripled since 1970 and 70% of urban people are overweight". This book is an attempt towards assessing obesity and guiding school management to control the issue related to overweight and obesity among school children at an early stage.
