A Catholic Consciousness: Scripture, Theology, and the Church

The essays collected here are, for lack of a better term, a form of public theology, personal essays written from the heart, often in response to a specific moment within the larger culture. In them, the author seeks locate and express what might be called a "Catholic Consciousness," a distinctively Catholic approach to issues touching on Scripture, theology, and the life of the church.
