Neil Slater left the SAS at the end of his tether. However, as he tries to make a new life for himself in the 'normal' world, he discovers that some habits are hard to break. When his reactions to an attempted kidnapping cause him to lose his job, he is soon to realize that you can take the man out of the system, but you can't take the system out of the man - particularly not when the system has other ideas.
