The Children

Charlotte Maynard rarely leaves her mother's home; the sprawling Connecticut lake house that belonged to her late stepfather, Whit Whitman. While Charlotte and her sister grew up at Lakeside, their stepbrothers, Spin and Perry, were welcomed as weekend guests.
