Eight year-old Ivy gets a real shock when a strange cat splash-lands in her bath. The shocks get bigger when Ivy discovers the cat can talk and is called Queen Sardine! Queen Sardine tells Ivy she's scared to go back home because there's a monster there. Not only does Ivy have to keep the cat a secret from her mum, she soon realises Queen Sardine is one demanding feline. And while Ivy's struggling to cope with Marcy, a new girl at school, Queen Sardine has a new cat to contend with in the shape of spoiled pedigree Princess Persia. Can Ivy and Queen Sardine work together to sort out their new-girl problems?
