Mila and the Bone Man

In the forest of northern New Zealand lives Mila, a young woman descended from healers. A tragic accident in her family causes her terrible guilt, setting her on a path away from home and to the distant city.

Her friend Tommy, the quirky boy next door who makes models from bones, doesn't see the world as others do. And it will be he who helps piece together the broken bits of her life, and bring her home, where she belongs.

Straddling the old world and the new, Mila and the Bone Man explores the corrosive power of guilt, the solace to be found in the natural world, and our capacity to heal as well as hurt.
