Memory Book: A Benny Cooperman Mystery

Left for dead with a vicious blow to the head, Benny Cooperman wakes up in the hospital to find himself at the centre of his most puzzling mystery ever. Convinced that he was close to solving a case, the lovable small-time PI remembers little else. Moreover, he suffers from a rare brain condition (shared in real life by his creator, Howard Engel) that renders him able to write but not to read. With the help of his girlfriend, whose name he keeps forgetting, and a small notebook dubbed "the memory book," Cooperman pieces together what happened to him that night on the university campus, and why.
